Working with Weeke & Homag CNC Routers

The Weeke and Homag range of CNC Routers are driven using a software program called WoodWop, which is developed by the Homag Group in Germany.

Important!

Please contact your Router supplier for detailed advice and instruction on how to run toolpaths from ArtCAM on your CNC router.

1. Saving Toolpath data in ArtCAM

Save each toolpath using the 2 Weeke postp’s – using the same file name.

Weeke MPR

This saves the Model information – Material size and Thickness etc.

Save this file into the folder,

            C:\ww4\a1\MP4

Weeke PLY

This saves the actual Toolpath moves – X, Y & Z coordinates

Save this file into the folder,

C:\ww4\a1\ML4

2. Loading files into WoodWop

This is a 2-stage process.

Start the WoodWOP program and select,

File > Open (Select the .MPR file)

For each Toolpath you will find a macro in the macro list.

Check tool number and technology in each macro before you generate the CN-code.
